Accounting Specialist – Accounts Receivable & General Ledger

Your Mission/Job Functions

Responsible for accounts receivable tasks including but not limited to:

· Collects & Records Customer Payments and transactions related to A/R

· Prepare & Analyze AR Reports for Management Review

· Handles Customer inquiries, requests, & resolution assistance

· Leading internal monthly AR calls

· Customer Credit Reference Requests

· Process Dunning statements as it relates to Month End

· Develop & maintain positive relationships with customers & internal team.

· Prepare Monthly Reconciliation GL Accounts as it relates to AR.

· Assist with Financial Audits

· Prepare & Post Journal Entries as needed.

· Assist in Cash Forecasting as it relates to AR.

· Contacting customers via phone or email to secure payment or payment commitment on past due invoices.

· Work with appropriate departments internally, and with customer externally for resolution on account discrepancies.

· Some AP Cash Posting (Minimal)

 Your Talents/Qualifications

· 1-2 years of experience with accounts receivable or general ledger 

· Accounting courses or accounting degree

· Experience in MS Windows, MS Office (Advanced knowledge in Excel).

· SAP Experience a Plus, not mandatory

· High self-motivation to learn new software developments through coursework or self-study.

· Dynamic Team Player who can work a hybrid schedule effectively.

· Ability to travel when needed.
