POSITION OVERVIEW :

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the continuous availability of materials necessary for production while optimizing inventory levels to reduce costs.

This role involves collaborating closely with the Client, EOS Field Operations Teams, and the EOS Procurement Team to align material availability with project schedules.

The Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in managing inventory, reducing excess stock, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet project demands.

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

  • Material Planning and Scheduling :
  • Develop and maintain material requirements planning (MRP) schedules to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
  • Coordinate with production and procurement teams to align material deliveries with production schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels, adjust planning parameters, and initiate purchase orders to meet production needs.
  • Inventory Management :
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Perform regular inventory analysis and recommend adjustments to safety stock levels.
  • Implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and minimize waste.
  • Supply Chain Coordination :
  • Work closely with DC Partners to ensure on-time delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback to improve service levels.
  • Negotiate with partners to secure lead times, pricing, and order quantities.
  • Field Operations Support :
  • Collaborate with Field Operations team leadership to understand material requirements and address any shortages or delays.
  • Adjust material plans based on changes in project schedules, demand forecasts, or unforeseen disruptions.
  • Ensure all materials meet quality standards and project requirement specifications.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting :
  • Analyze material usage trends and forecast future material requirements.
  • Generate and maintain reports on inventory levels, material shortages, and supplier performance.
  • Provide insights to management on potential risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement :
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance material planning efficiency.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to improve supply chain processes and reduce costs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in materials planning and inventory management.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED :

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, or supply chain roles.
  • Strong understanding of material requirements planning (MRP)
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • APICS certification (CPIM) or similar is a plus.
