EP Engineering is Hiring a Mechanical Engineer Near New York, NY
**Our employees are currently on a hybrid schedule - 3 days home, 2 days in office (Tuesday and Wednesday). This is not a fully remote position. You must be willing to commute into our office.**
Ideal candidates will have their bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, years of experience with an engineering consulting firm, and working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD. Our entry level engineers complete varied engineering tasks under the guidance and technical review of Project Engineers. We are looking for engineers with the ability to strong technical knowledge, ability to meet deadlines and adapt to flexible responsibilities.
Job Description & Responsibilities: Mechanical Engineer duties will include – HVAC Engineer, duties will include design and calculate heating and cooling loads for building systems, survey existing mechanical systems for buildings and selection and layout of mechanical equipment such as pumps, chiller, fans and boilers under the direction of Sr. or Project engineer.
REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum of 2 years of experience
· Proficient in Revit & AutoCAD
· Assist in code analyses, required calculations, equipment selection and field survey tasks
· Ability to work autonomously
· Introductory knowledge of code compliance requirements and industry standards
· Strong organizational, prioritization, decision making and analytical skills
Salary - Start at $80,000 to $105,000 per year
