EPIC AIRCRAFT is Hiring an Intern - A&P Mechanic Near Bend, OR

Who We AreEpic Aircraft, based in beautiful Bend, Oregon, is the leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance, all-composite, six-seat single-engine turboprop aircraft. We're seeking talented and creative individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in the aerospace industry.
What You'll DoAs a member of Epic Flight Support, theAirframe & Powerplant Internwill participate as a valuable member of the team. This is a paid summer internship available to students currently enrolled in an Accredited A&P program, or recentlygraduated from an A&P program. The intern will gain real-world experience doing a variety of tasks related toEpic E1000GXAircraft.Additional tasks may include:
  • Assist experienced A&P mechanics in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft by carefully following oral or written instructions and detailed written procedures
  • Remove, clean, inspect, and replace aircraft components following training and written procedures
  • Ensure the work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner
  • Clean and detail aircraft as needed
What You Bring To The Team
  • Required:Must be currently enrolled in an Accredited A&P Program, and working towards getting your Airframe & Powerplant Mechanics or AMT License
  • Newly graduated students with an A&P License are encouraged to apply. Full time positions are available
  • Avionics Experience helpful - training is provided
  • A "can-do" teachable attitude with a willingness to help any person on the team with any task
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well with a team
  • Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
