JOB SUMMARY:?
The Pricing Analyst will serve as a key member of the Business Development & Finance Departments under general supervision of the President. The Pricing Analyst executes all aspects of proposal pricing on all major types of contracts (Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials, etc.) of varying size and complexities in response to Federal, State, Local and Commercial opportunities.
This position will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and drive thought leadership around proposal pricing and price to win. The Pricing Analyst is expected to bring innovation and creativity to the forefront when preparing cost volumes reflecting a strategic approach to pricing solutions.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:?
Develop and maintain pricing models to ensure accuracy and compliance with government regulations.
Analyze request for Proposals (RFPs) to understand pricing requirements and provide insights on pricing strategies that align with the company’s goals.
Conduct competitive and historical pricing analyses to identify market trends, competitors’ pricing strategies, and perform Price-to-Win assessments to enhance the company’s competitive positioning.
Works extensively with Capture Manager in understanding the development of price strategy.
Lead price volume content development.
Evaluate financial implications and potential risks associated with proposed pricing models, considering both short-term and long-term financial impacts.
Assess the execution risks associated with proposed pricing, considering operational feasibility and potential challenges in delivering healthcare staffing and services.
Support and manages all phases of the proposal process, including pre-RFP strategic reviews, pricing and cost-related proposal development, Q&As, and pricing reviews.
Interacts cross-functionally with various departments and/or individuals (i.e., Human Resources, Payroll, Contracts, Accounting, Legal, Program Management) to obtain needed data and rationale for the pricing and/or business (narrative) proposal.
Interface extensively with proposal team (Proposal Manager, Capture, VP of Growth, Proposal Writer) to ensure proposal compliance and coordination.
Stay informed about relevant federal, state, and local regulations impacting pricing strategies for healthcare staffing and services contracts, ensuring compliance in all proposals.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in pricing analysis and proposal development, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the pricing function.
Effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, ensuring timely completion of pricing analyses and proposal submissions
Utilize excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to convey complex pricing strategies and analyses to internal stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:?
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting/Finance or related field.
A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated ability developing pricing models, conducting pricing analysis and preparing business narrative volumes on federal opportunities.
Experience in clinical staffing, medical administration and solutions is preferred.
Pricing experience with various acquisition environments (LPTA, Set Aside) and various contract types (FFP, FFP LOE, T&M).
Experience working with all phases of solicitation processes such as RFI/RFP/RFQ responses and negotiations.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the use of Microsoft Office Applications with a strong focus on Excel modeling for analysis and data presentation.
Pricing experience with commercial and State& Local opportunities is preferred, but not required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:?
Strong knowledge of pricing and contracts in a federal contracting environment, to include GSA schedules, IDIQ’s, sole-source and competitive stand-alone bids.
Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills are essential to effectively communicate complex pricing strategies and insights.
Adeptness at managing multiple tasks in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment is critical.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Possess superior attention to detail.
Familiarity with Government Cost Accounting Principles and the FAR/DFAR.
Ability to read an RFP/RFQ and understand price volume deliverables, required formats, and evaluation factors.
