We are seeking an exceptional early-career IT professional to join our multi-tenant Hosting team as a Cloud Engineer. As a Cloud Engineer, you'll deploy and maintain infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) resources to public cloud providers in order to host and support our world-class software.

• Bachelor's Degree in CIS, IS, IT, or a related field
• Relocation to Madison, WI (reimbursed)
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• COVID-19 vaccination
• Preferred experience/interest in one of the following areas
• Experience developing and deploying resources with a cloud provider (i.e., Azure, AWS, Cloudflare, GCP)
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows Server operating systems
• Networking concepts (load balancing, TCP/IP, HTTP, gRPC, DNS) and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, command line, BPF)

As a member of the Hosting team at Epic, you'll be responsible for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting. Those responsibilities include:

• Escalating potential security incidents and providing relevant information
• Meeting all security responsibilities defined in policies and procedures
