Job Description

Episcopal Homes of Minnesota is currently recruiting applicants for a full time Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will provide a variety of skilled technical repairs and tasks while also performing standard skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of facility and grounds. This position will work closely with the other maintenance staff to maintain efficient operations and repair of the HVAC units and equipment; inspect and maintain functional systems and be able to detect or diagnosis malfunctions. Other duties include but are not limited to; responding to work orders, ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Local laws, maintaining emergency generator and general maintenance duties as needed.

Competencies:Communicating with Seniors, Highly Organized, Energetic and Creative, Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills, Be flexible and able to work in stressful situations, Exemplify Excellent Customer Service.

Education and/or Experience: Ability to read and write the English language, High School Diploma or GED required, Experience in long term care desired, Valid MN Driver’s License Preferred, Preferred Boilers License
