Vice President Clinical Operations

Salary: $300,000 - $350,000

Company Summary: Working with a private, clinical-stage biotech company based in San Francisco (East Bay) who's looking for a VP, Clin Ops to join their team on a hybrid/full-time basis. Strategically aligned with a major pharmaceutical powerhouse, they aim to create a best-in-class immunotherapy which redefines the oncology landscape entirely. Their pipeline consists of 2 INDs, a Phase I and a Phase II study, so the VP, Clinical Operations will play a pivotal role in the oversight and development of their clinical stage assets.

The Director/Senior Director will be r esponsible for:

• Reporting directly into the CMO
• Supporting cross functional development of departmental policies
• Providing critical leadership, oversight, and trial management ensuring trials are conducted in accordance with the protocols, timelines, and budgets
• Managing vendor selection to ensure compliance with established timelines and financial commitments
• Overseeing recruitment, development, and retention of the clinical operations team, prioritizing activities in line with development programs
• Collaborates cross-functionally with Clinical, Product Development, Biostatistics, regulatory Affairs, Informatics, Legal, and Finance departments

An ideal candidate for this role MUST have…

• 15 years of biopharma INDUSTRY experience REQUIRED
• 8 years of direct sponsor clin ops management REQUIRED
• 3 years of ED/Head of Clin Ops experience
• Demonstrated success identifying, negotiating and overseeing outsourced vendors
• A working knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines
