Title: HR Systems & Analytics Analyst

Department: National Human Resources Department

Location: New York / Chicago/ Washington DC (Hybrid Schedule)

Reports to: Senior HR Systems Administrator

FLSA: Exempt

Summary – Reporting to the Sr. HRIS Administrator, the HR Systems & Analytics analyst will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and assisting in implementing all Human Resource Information Systems to ensure accurate and efficient HR data management and reporting. This includes but is not limited to HRIS security, business intelligence, system configurations and integrations, data integrity and all other aspects related to the employee lifecycle.

The role will support the firm’s multi-year HR technology transformation on top of being responsible for processing employee data changes, preparing standard senior management and ad-hoc reports and researching and resolving systems issues. We are open to candidates in the NYC Metro, D.C. and Chicago areas.

 Responsibilities:

HRIS:

· Assist with the maintenance of all HR systems, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.

· Supports HR teams and other stakeholders in facilitation of all HR processes managed by technologies. i.e. - employee new hire onboarding, time entry, payroll processing, performance evaluation and recruiting processes.

· Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits and maintaining clean and accurate records.

· Manages permissions, access, personalization, similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.

· Provide technical support and training to HR staff and end-users on HRIS functionalities.

· Identify quality improvement opportunities for system & overall processes.

· Collaborate with IT and external vendors for system updates, upgrades, and implementations.

· Assist with HRIS-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.

· Build or contribute to project plans related to HR implementations. Design, build, test and roll out all HR applications.

· Assist with the production and maintenance of end-to-end HR process maps.

· Create custom reports and dashboards based on user requirements.

· Monitor HR metrics and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.

· Responsible for data entry of employee schedules, training of new managers, on timesheet approval and payroll submission process, as well as providing technical support to managers and employees.

Reporting & Analytics:

· Utilize the firm’s HRIS report writing tool to prepare ad-hoc, monthly and quarterly management reports and assist in completing various external surveys.

· Generate and analyze reports from HR systems to support senior management decision-making strategy.

· If necessary, program custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros and reports.

Other Duties and Projects:

· Under direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior HR Systems Administrator, complete, support or lead HR related tasks or projects which may be related to any functional area of HR.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure that HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.

· Ability to keep information confidential.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

· Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.

· Knowledge of payroll processing preferred.

Qualifications:

· At least five years of related experience required. College degree preferred.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Compensation:

The expected salary range for this position ranges from $71,000 - $92,000 per year. It is not typical for offers to be mate at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
