Equahire is Hiring a Marketing Manager Near Charlotte, NC

Summary:

This role will oversee all marketing operations and strategy in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role involves managing proposals, marketing collateral, communications, and research. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines.

The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive sales, enhance brand awareness, and increase revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Proposals Management:

  • Lead the proposal process, including qualifying RFP/RFQs, strategy development, design, assembly, submission, and debriefing.
  • Mentor and train marketing team members on proposal preparation.
  • Review final submittals with leadership prior to submission.

Marketing Collateral:

  • Ensure all marketing materials, including project sheets, resumes, qualifications, and proposals, are up to date and consistent with the brand.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure presentations and collateral align with brand standards.

Public Relations and Social Media:

  • Manage social media content and posting schedule in coordination with the marketing team.
  • Attend PR meetings and support PR/media plans with necessary collateral.

Database and Information Management:

  • Maintain marketing databases, including project data, resumes, and proposal content.
  • Archive proposal and award collateral for future reference.

Business Development Support:

  • Assist in qualifying leads and conducting market research.
  • Support the business development team with necessary marketing materials.

Events and Engagement:

  • Plan and execute marketing events, including groundbreakings and other project-specific events.
  • Develop and manage local partnerships, shows/events, and field marketing efforts focused on lead generation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the trades industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong proposal writing and graphic design skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Experience with CRM software and database management.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with both marketing and technical teams.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed and travel occasionally.

Additional Information: The Marketing Manager role requires a proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to excellence. The candidate must be able to manage budgets, develop reports, and oversee a team of marketers. A background in the HVAC/R industry or construction industry is a plus.
