We are looking for a Senior Cloud Automation Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team. The Cloud Engineering team designs and builds public cloud solutions globally at Equifax. We automate project creation, IAM, networking and everything in between in the Google Cloud Platform. This is a high visibility role on a high visibility team that is revolutionizing how Equifax delivers systems and software. The work we do is making Equifax a better place to work! We’re a tight-knit group of like-minded individuals with a wide variety of technical backgrounds and experience ranging from software engineering to enterprise architecture. We believe everything should be automated and everything can be done with code.
Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week. This role will work the required onsite days at our Equifax office in Alpharetta, GA. Sponsorship is not available for this position. This is a direct-hire role and it is not open to C2C or third-party vendors. What you will do

• Develop and implement short and long-term roadmaps for their respective domains
• Implement complex infrastructure products through engineering and automation that enables configuration and service management
• Provides guidance to technical staff within their domain
• Consult and advise on systems engineering and design
• Streamline deployment of infrastructure into consumable services
• Design new, automate where appropriate
• Full alignment with the Engineering Handbook guidelines and practices

What Experience You Need

• BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience required; Master’s Degree preferred; AI/ML coursework preferred
• 7 years of related work experience
• Certification in cloud or automation preferred
• Experience in one or more cloud environments (GCP preferred)
• Experience using one or more automation languages (Python, Bash, Groovy)
• Terraform or CloudFormation for automating
• Solid understanding of networking
• Experience with one or more other technologies (database, Big Data, AI, etc.)
