Equinox Consulting Partners is seeking a SharePoint and Power Platform Developer to support the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) in digitizing and automating paper-based records. This 12 month contract involves creating and managing SharePoint sites, developing workflows, and ensuring seamless integration of records management solutions. This is a REMOTE position that will require the selected candidate to go into the office in Richmond, VA on occasion as requested.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise VDH on SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform features.
• Implement an agency-wide records and document management automation system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for consistent, user-friendly design and implementation.
• Apply records management principles based on customer requirements.
• Create complex workflows and business processes using Power Automate.
• Ensure 508 compliance and adhere to VDH design standards.
• Troubleshoot security issues and address customer inquiries.
• Develop a SharePoint Records Center with retention labels and workflows.
• Comply with existing security protocols and guidelines.
• Facilitate training and educational opportunities for end-users.

Requirements:

• 5 years as a SharePoint and/or Microsoft Power Platform Developer.
• 3 years in UI and UX design.
• Experience developing custom SharePoint solutions and managing Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Center.
• Proficiency in Power Platform components (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, etc.).
