Equinox Medical is Hiring a Field Application Specialist Near Sydney, FL

looking for an outstanding scientist with a demonstrated high level of professional success and exceptional communication skills. Your Job duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing on-site and remote support, training and troubleshooting assistance for instrumentation and assays in pathology, research, and industrial laboratories.
  • Growing consumables revenue through delivery of high-end applications support and building awareness around the company's offerings.
  • Supporting the sales team with pre-sales/post-sales and marketing activities including presentation, demonstration and trials as well as promoting consumable sales by building customer’s confidence in the company’s technology and products.
  • Working closely with the service engineering team to manage installations, site activation/launch and technical troubleshooting by following the protocols for verification, validation, and implementation of systems & assays.
  • Responsible for providing timely and quality scientific support to the team and customers.

The Expertise

  • Tertiary qualification (e.g. BSc/MSc/PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline such as Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in genomics and/or genotyping is a must.
  • Knowledge of routine molecular platforms and associated workflows
  • Experience in manual and/or high-throughput automated immunoassays is desirable, as is previous experience in a scientific customer field supporting role.
  • Solid commercial acumen and the ability to travel throughout ANZ as required.
  • Keeping abreast of the current and future market dynamics (competitors’ products etc.)
