EquipmentShare is Hiring a Facilities Maintenance ManagerEquipmentShare is searching for a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee all installations, repair and upkeep operations of our industrial upfitting center in Moberly, MO.
Primary Responsibilities Of a Facilities Maintenance Manager
  • Maintain mechanical, electrical systems, and the overall appearance of the facility.
  • Perform building repairs including but not limited to drywall, paint, ceiling tiles, carpet, and flooring.
  • Install manufacturing equipment and connect to 480V 3-phase electricity, air lines, and high-pressure gas lines.
  • Maintain the facilitie’s landscaping and handle snow removal.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on internal office systems and equipment as assigned.
  • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure their implementation.
  • Carry out inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues.
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
  • Monitor equipment inventory and partner with the Procurement team to place orders when necessary.
  • Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
  • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
  • Sustain the maintenance schedule and track all service or maintenance performed.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies.
  • Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (custodians, etc).

Skills & Qualifications Of a Facilities Maintenance Manager
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related fields.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance manager or in other managerial roles.
  • Ability to multitask or prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in planning maintenance operations.
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, etc.
  • Working knowledge of facilities machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to keep track of and report on activities.
  • Upbeat, energetic individual willing to take on any task assigned.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
