Required Skills: Client requires the contractor to support Enterprise Systems Monitoring and the Zabbix, Splunk Observability monitoring tools that monitors 600 applications and over 14,000 servers. They will also be required to support out AZURE, Google Cloud Platform and AWS monitoring. Along with maintaining and managing our Everbridge notification tool.

Contractors that ESM has on staff support the monitoring infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

With the monitoring tools that Postal utilizes, the SME's are responsible for capturing critical component failures that negatively impact production and revenue. The monitors that the ESM SME contractors are responsible for supporting include but not limited to:

Server Availability Ping

CPU Utilization

CPU Workload by User Process

Memory Utilization

Memory Paging

Disk Utilization

Disk I/O Rates

Network I/O Rates

Local Filesystem Availability

Local Filesystem Utilization

Run Queue Length

Workload Transaction Rates

Cloud metrics monitoring

API monitoring and alerting
