Responsibilities and Expectations
1. Reports and responsibilities.
• Manage Reporting Related Projects as assigned, including:
o Producing the Bank’s Watch/Classified list.
o Monitoring Loan Concentrations.
o Performing Portfolio Stress analysis.
o Financial Covenant Monitoring / Approval.
o Borrowing Base Certificate Monitoring / Approval.
o Prepare Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Reports as assigned.
2. Work on large data/analytics projects that gather and analyze large volumes of data.
3. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, and provide answers to business questions.
4. Partner with leadership throughout the Bank’s footprint in developing expectations and assessing credit administration data.
5. Lead efforts to improve the structure of our analytical tools, data, and processes to enhance the Bank’s analytic capabilities and understanding of business performance.
6. Assist with developing recommendations through analysis for our Executive Leadership Team, providing credit insights necessary to help manage the Bank’s goals and support effective decision making.
7. Understand and follow the applicable laws and regulations for job responsibilities including but not limited to Equity Bank Business Ethic and Conduct policy, Bank Secrecy Act, Information security, and Suspicious Activity Reporting (“SAR”) requirements.
8. Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Required Skills & Education
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Finance or Accounting.
• 2 years business experience preferred with a strong focus in business analysis, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with track record of delivering results.
• Demonstration of strong written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, persistence and ability to foster productive working relationships.
• Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple changing priorities and assignments/projects and perform under tight deadlines.
• Advanced MS Excel skills required, including logical and reference formulas, financial functions, correlation through pivots and logic, and formatting for presentations.
• Advanced MS PowerPoint skills preferred.
• Minimal travel may be required.
