ELS is hiring for the position of Marina Dock Hand in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

As a Dock Hand, you will be integral to maintaining our Marina's pristine condition and efficient operation. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work and hands-on tasks will be vital in ensuring that the Marina meets our high standards of quality and service.

What You’ll Be Doing :

As a Dock Hand, you will support the General Manager and collaborate with other Dock Hands in performing various marina-related tasks.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Securing Boats to Docks : Assist in mooring boats, ensuring they are properly and safely secured to prevent any damage or accidents.
• Fueling Boats : Operate fueling stations to refuel boats, adhering strictly to safety protocols to prevent any spills or accidents.
• Black Water Pump Out : Perform pump-out services for boats' black water tanks, maintaining sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Facility Sanitation : Carry out cleaning duties to keep the marina facilities spotless, including restrooms, docks, and common areas.
• Customer Service : Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly attending to requests from vessel patrons. This includes transporting patrons and their baggage to and from the dockside and delivering provisions and packages.

Experience & Skills You Need :

• Mechanical Skills : Possess basic mechanical skills to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on marina equipment and facilities.
• Team and Independent Work : Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets effectively.
• Reliability and Time Management : Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient operations.
• Strong Communication : Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and provide clear instructions and information to patrons.
• Customer Service Orientation : Passionate about working with the public, striving to provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Physical Stamina : Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, often in varying weather conditions.
• Availability : Must be available to work weekends and holidays to meet the operational needs of the marina.
• Adaptability : Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.

Job Details :

• Full-Time Position : This is a full-time job requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.
• Year-Round Employment : The position is available year-round, providing stable employment, PTO, and benefits.
