Equity Residential is Hiring a Senior Analyst, Human Resource Technology Near Chicago, IL

The Sr. Analyst, HR Technology is responsible for the design, development and execution of reporting and analytical solutions that measure HR’s results against its people business strategy. This subject matter expert and strategic business partner is responsible for all aspects of timely data and metrics delivery for the Human Resources Function. This will include coordination and partnership with related functions within and outside of the Human Resources group.

As a Senior Analyst, HR Technology, you will have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders from various functions within and outside of the Human Resources group. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute reporting and analytical solutions that measure HR’s results against its people business strategy. Moreover, you will play a pivotal role in delivering timely data and metrics, ensuring comprehensive coordination and partnership across related functions. This role offers a unique chance to be a strategic business partner and subject matter expert, responsible for shaping the strategic vision and execution of HR data and analytics initiatives within the organization.

The ideal candidate for this position is an accomplished Human Resources Data and Analytics leader who possesses extensive experience in human capital management (HCM) systems, reporting, analytics, and data engineering. You should have a proven track record of successfully leveraging these skills to drive organizational growth and transformation. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to identify and define problem statements and solutions, leveraging expertise in data, analytics, and strategy.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Human Resources data quality program to ensure and maintain the highest standards of data integrity.
  • Deliver innovative solutions to scale reporting capabilities through automation and self-service tools.
  • Initiate, gather, analyze and execute planned HR reporting including, but not limited to:
  • Turnover and Retention
  • Employee engagement
  • Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)
  • State and Federal reporting
  • Lead implementation and post implementation support of any new or updated data centric modules within the Oracle Data Platform such as Fusion Data Intelligence.
  • Analyze the HCM (Oracle HCM software) existing reports and drive improvements in partnership with the Information Technology team.
  • Forecast potential business or people trends that may impact the overall business or a department/business unit; provide analytical data to strategically manage impact.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and innovations , actively researching and implementing new analytical methodologies and approaches to enhance the organization's data and analytics capabilities.
  • Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintains a professional courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Engineering , Business Administration, or related field and at least (3) years of experience.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and technologies, such as SQL, R, Python, etc., with a strong ability to perform data analysis and statistical modeling tasks.
  • Experience using Human Capital Management (HCM) tools such as Oracle HCM as well as Oracle Data modules such as BI, OAC, FAW and/or FDI is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering and business stakeholders to define problem statements and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively articulate complex analytical concepts and insights to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.
  • Confidence in working in ambiguous and dynamic environments, driving programs and initiatives to success.
  • Demonstrates curiosity in learning new skills and seeks to broaden one’s knowledge in Human Resources.
  • Must possess the ability to work independently, have excellent organizational skills, and be able to effectively prioritize workload.
