The Construction Project Manager will oversee all aspects of assigned projects from planning to completion. Responsibilities include coordinating field teams, managing budgets, developing and maintaining schedules, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role requires strong communication with stakeholders, direct reports, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and successful outcomes.
What You Will Do
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of project management—including budget, schedule, procurement, quality, and risk—for individual projects, covering planning, design, entitlement, permitting, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • You will act as the liaison between architects, engineers, contractors, testing agencies, utility providers, municipal authorities, financial institutions, FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) vendors, and other specialized consultants and third-party vendors.
  • Show proficiency in reading, understanding, and applying standard to moderately complex documents related to real estate projects, such as agreements/contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys, and drawings.
  • Possess and apply knowledge of construction delivery methods and agreements, general building codes, and various building types and systems, along with the ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
  • Administer project-related contracts between the executive team and various consultants and contractors. Lead the project, offering guidance and direction to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor each project's progress relative to goals, objectives, approved budgets, and schedules/timelines. Regularly report on status, variances, and impacts. Develop action plans to ensure objectives are met within budget and on schedule. Consistently document lessons learned and share them during project closeouts.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and proactively implement actions to reduce or eliminate these risks. Resolve complex problems that involve multiple options in challenging situations.
  • Complete all project reporting throughout, project follow-ups, project accounting, and close-out packages at turnover.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
  • 5 years of experience in Construction Project Management
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University, preferred in construction or a technical area of study.
  • Strong track record of successfully managing construction projects
  • Knowledge and experience with the entitlement/permitting process
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel throughout the general area.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other construction management software
