Keyholder is an in-store position, that helps maintain the superior level of customer service and store maintenance we are known for. You'll have the opportunity to be part of a knowledgeable team and become an expert in footwear and foot health. You will be able to share your knowledge with customers and staff to provide the best level of service possible.
Shoe Mill operates fine footwear retail stores in Portland and Salem, Oregon that specialize in comfortable, high-quality shoes and accessories. Shoe Mill is part of ERHCo Inc - an Oregon-based, family-run business that operates retail shoe stores from Eugene to Hood River. Compensation And Benefits

• $16.75 to $18.00 per hour
• This range is the minimum hourly rates for this position.
• This is a commission-based position and has uncapped sales commission earning potential.

Hours

• Open 7 days a week. Operating hours may be dictated by the location.
• Full-time position (30-40 hours per week)

Necessary Skills

• Minimum of one year in fashion retail, required.
• One year of retail supervisory experience, preferred.
• At least two years of work experience involving cash handling, required

Responsibilities Include

• Assisting customers with their footwear needs through active listening, technical shoe fitting and offering a variety of options.
• Opening and closing duties.
• Store merchandising.
• Store cleanliness and basic maintenance
• Maintaining a high level of personal sales.
• Assist the manager with employee training and development as requested.
• Processing and reporting sales transactions using the point of sale register.
• Respond to internal and external requests courteously and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory management through accurate stockroom maintenance.
• Perform tasks as outline by the daily action plan, including stock assignments and transfers.
