GENERAL FUNCTION:

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the cleanliness, repair and maintenance of the building and grounds.

QUALIFICATIONS:

This position requires a high school diploma and a minimum of three years of housekeeping and general maintenance experience in a leadership/supervisory capacity. The incumbent must have the ability to read, write, understand and communicate instructions. A general knowledge of cleaning supplies and their use is required. The incumbent must have the ability to perform minor maintenance tasks.

A general knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry is required. The incumbent must be able to identify problems and develop realistic solutions.

The ability to carry out assignments without direct supervision, a positive attitude and good problem solving skills are a must. This position requires positive human relations skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
