As a National Projects Account Manager, you have the ultimate responsibility for all assigned accounts. Additionally, the National Projects Account Manager must accept the final responsibility and accountability for the execution of all project contracts as assigned by ERMCO management. These tasks are to be carried out at the lowest cost consistent with contract requirements and good business practices. This is a traveling position, and the assignment could be anywhere Nationally. This position reports to the Manager, National Projects Operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take ownership and responsibility for assigned accounts.
• Oversee the assigned project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Lead weekly strategy meetings and hold team meetings to discuss any issues or updates and to provide and receive updates regarding the project.
• Provide job financials including projections, receivables, underbilling’s, etc.
• Ensure change orders are turned in per the contract guidelines.
• Foster strong client relationships, addressing concerns, and ensuring project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
• Coordinate with various departments to allocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment, to support project needs including prefabrication and VDC.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, change orders, MPU’s and other relevant project-related paperwork.
• Implement best practices, process improvements, and innovative strategies to enhance project efficiency and profitability.
• Establishes and ensures quality standards to include monitoring work practices to identify concerns or issues that do not meet these quality standards.
• Discuss any customer issues and advise the Manager of any significant problems encountered, along with recommended solutions.
• Ensure safe execution of all work activities and ensure adherence to our safety regulations. Correct unsafe activities, action, and/or conditions.
• Mentor and coach Project Engineers.
• Work collaboratively with Business Development and Leadership to maintain existing client relationships while cultivating new opportunities.
• All other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or Construction Engineering, or 6 years of construction field or office experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and training skills
• Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees and team members within a very diverse company.
• Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure with a sense of urgency and thoroughness with a professional, positive, pro-active, and energetic attitude.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and/or within a team.
• Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects and demands.
• High degree of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office proficiency
