Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Search Engine Marketing Specialist. The Search Engine Marketing Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to SEM/PPC marketing including but not limited to account and campaign management, developing and presenting reports, and post-click/landing page development. This role is based in Falls Church, VA but offers flexibility for remote work.

Key Functional Areas of Responsibility

• Perform regular account management of PPC campaigns, executing best practices focused on improving KPIs (CTR, CPA, Conversions, ROAS, CVR, etc.) to deliver consistently improved results for our clients
• Perform regular account analysis and reporting using in-platform data alongside in-house reporting dashboards and tools
• Create and manage new paid search accounts and campaigns, taking ownership of the client onboarding process from the initial launch through the optimization phase
• Provide creative copy suggestions and graphical ad templates, as required
• Assist with the creation and optimization of post-click/landing page experience
• Communicate to team and management on project development, timelines, and campaign performance.
• Work closely with other team members to meet and exceed client goals
• Keep pace with Google Ads and PPC industry trends and developments

Professional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 3 years of direct hands-on experience with Google Ads management
• High-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
• Experience with website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
• Google Ads certifications required
• BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent work experience
