Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Java Full Stack developer to serve our diverse base of global clients. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using JavaScript Spring MVC Java Spring Boot and SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Work closely with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement best practices in software development to ensure high-quality code and efficient processes.
• Utilize MySQL and AWS to enhance application functionality and performance.
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all development activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 to 9 years of experience working in IT industry.
• Possess strong expertise in JavaScript, Spring MVC, Java, Spring Boot and SQL.
• Have mandatory experience in the Cards and Payments domain.
• Demonstrate proficiency in MySQL and AWS as nice-to-have skills.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Show strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Have a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
