ESC of Central Ohio is Hiring a School Psychologist (Job ID 20939) (qualifies for $1500 Early Commitment Incentive) Near Columbus, OH

Description:
The Educational Service Center of Central Ohio is seeking a school psychologist who is organized, efficient, and self - motivated. The successful candidates must have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as demonstrated experience as a child advocate. Conducting initial evaluations and triennial re-evaluations; collaborating, formally and informally, with teachers and instructional staff to develop sound, research-based instructional and behavioral practices & interventions; ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to; plus, supporting the administration and building staffs in the district's attempt to move towards a preventative-based RTI, MTSS process.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid school psychology license and certificate from the professional board and the Ohio Department of Education. Training and/or experience in Response to Intervention (RTI)(MTSS) Strategies.
Experience conducting and/or facilitation of Intervention Assistance Teams. Experience in designing and deploying interventions for students. Documentation of a clear criminal record.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions: 
Conduct screenings, assessments and evaluations 
Provide best practices regarding social and emotional development in children and youth
Participate in problem solving and implement academic and behavioral interventions and strategies at the building level
Facilitate individual and/or group counseling
Consult with building teams as needed
Salary:
Commensurate with experience and in accordance with specified salary schedule
Reports To:
Executive Director for the Center of Student Services
