Seeking Game Masters for Downtown Escape Room

What is an escape room?

Escape rooms are interactive experiences where a team of people are put into a scenario where they need to follow clues and solve puzzles in order to escape within an allotted amount of time.

At Escapology, we have 7 games, each with a different theme and difficulty level. Each team will be given 1 hour to escape the room of their choosing.

Who are we?

We are different! In most cases, when it comes to escape rooms, not much is offered other than the game itself. You come, you play, you leave. Although you may enjoy your game, it’s over before you know it. On top of that, in many cases, the venue itself takes place in a repurposed office building and greatly takes away from the overall experience. We knew we wanted to be different, and stopped at nothing to set ourselves apart from the competition.

Solutions Lounge and Restaurant featuring Escapology opened the fall of 2017 in downtown Denver. Our goal is to give every customer the option to enhance their experience with food, drink and themed cocktails, if they so choose. We also decided to totally renovate a historic property so that we are able to enhance the atmosphere and allow guests to feel truly immersed upon entering. This also allowed us to create incredible ambiance for each separate escape room.

What is a Game Master?

All Escapology employees are known as Game Masters. Some responsibilities are, but not limited too:

• Greeting all guests
• Completing pregame arrangements
• Briefing guests before they enter their game and following up with them once their game has ended
• Resetting and disinfecting the games in between groups
• Overseeing games via security cameras
• Ensuring that each group is progressing properly throughout their game and providing hints when prompted
• Observing general safety of the games
• Taking photos of groups when they complete their game
• Keeping everyone Covid safe!
• Participate in social media postings using Tik Tok, Facebook and Instagram.
• Keeping the venue clean and assisting the servers when needed.

Job specs

Open 5 days a week sometimes 6 allowing for flexible schedules (Wed thru Sun)

WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED

Hours/week available are 24 to 30, we need you Friday evenings, Saturdays and maybe Sundays. We also might need you for events or to cover when other employees are on vacation or out sick.

Starting wage plus normal tips plus tips from events with raises based on performance. Starting pay can also be influenced by experience.
