POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join our high-performance team and be a part of our journey to shape the future of the Greater Washington DC Area’s data center community by delivering resilient and sustainable solutions that make a difference.

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive experience in both a Manufacturing and Services environment from an accounting perspective to support all companies. Specifically, the ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in general ledger, payroll, accounts receivable, timekeeping, accounts payable, and other related accounting disciplines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• General Ledger – responsible for managing the monthly close to include cash reconciliation, other balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and all other activities related to the general ledger.
• Accounts Receivable – responsible for billings, collections and all other activities related to accounts receivable.
• Payroll/Timekeeping – responsible for preparing and processing the bi-weekly payroll for all employees utilizing Paychex software application based on completed and submitted timesheets.
• Accounts Payable – review and access proper charge code assignment for accounts payable vouchers.

KEY TEAM JOB TASKS

• General ledger account reconciliations
• Billing and collections activities
• Payroll and timekeeping activities
• Accounts payable oversight

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Business experience in both a manufacturing and services industry
• Solid financial analysis experience

EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, preferably Accounting, Finance and/or Economics
• At least 5 years of related business experience
