Position: Quality Control Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance Collaboration: Partner with the production team to uphold and enhance quality standards for all outgoing products.
- Field Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve incoming calls from contractors, providing effective troubleshooting for any field issues.
- Product Development Insight: Collaborate with the product team to offer valuable insights on potential installation challenges for new products.
- Feedback Coordination: Work with the engineering team and factories to communicate and address any product failures or issues.
- Quality Control Leadership: Oversee the overall quality control process, ensuring all products entering the field meet our stringent quality criteria.
Experience Needed:
- Extensive Electrical Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical field, demonstrating a deep understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints, along with advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Effective Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact clearly and professionally with contractors, employees, and cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth coordination and problem resolution.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in electrical systems installation and maintenance.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and adherence to industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and emergency response skills.
- Proficiency in the use of power tools, hand tools, and hardware.
Education:
- Relevant technical education or equivalent work experience in the electrical field.
Location:
- This position is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
