ESN is Hiring a Project Estimator Near Naperville, IL

We are seeking a Construction Estimator to join out team in Lemont, IL!

This role will be focused on estimating projects from Ground up, Commercial, Civic, Education, Retail, Healthcare, Industrial, Government, and multi-family.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read and understand Project Drawings, Details, and Specifications
  • Ability to manage & complete bid processes, seeing the proposal process from start to finish
  • Perform quantity take-offs on our Take -Off Program (eTakeoff)
  • Input take-offs into our estimating program and manage pricing as directed to create bids
  • Manage subcontractor quotes and contracts
  • Working with General Contractor's and performing scope reviews
  • Communication with General Contractors for RFI’s, Schedules, and winning project
  • logical and organized approach to completing tasks and solving problems
  • Must have a strong & motivated work ethic
  • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe and plan viewing applications
  • Bluebeam)
  • Inputting new/updated unit pricing into our estimating system
  • Ability to update and clean up eTakeoff and Estimating programs

Qualifications

· 2-5 years of experience in construction estimating

· Experience working in landscape construction is a plus

· Must be decisive and work well under pressure

· Strong ability to concurrently manage multiple construction projects across various markets

· General understanding of civil, architectural, and other construction drawings is required

· Familiarity with computers and software programs for job costing, online collaboration, scheduling,and estimating is required. Must be proficient in MS Office and MS Project

· Strong negotiation, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $104,760.33 per year
