ABOUT YOU: As a Senior Accountant, your role is integral to shaping our financial landscape. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Accounting, you will contribute to the month-end close process, supervise accounting staff, approve check runs, journal entries, month-end accrual analysis, interim and year-end audits, and various finance improvement projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee Microsoft Dynamics 365 (MBC) workflows and general administration/security levels.
• Produce draft financial statements monthly and annually across all companies.
• Develop and implement goals, policies, and procedures for the accounting department.
• Prepare draft financial statement disclosures at year-end and review audit programs for compliance.
• Supervise monthly and yearly accounting period closings for accurate and timely results.
• Facilitate, motivate, and develop the accounting team for optimal productivity.
• Direct the compilation and issuance of accounting statistics and reports.
• Assist in developing policies and procedures to streamline accounting operations processes.
• Collaborate with external parties, agencies, government departments, and auditors to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Innovate revenue accounting principles, practices & procedures, and mentor a revenue accounting team.
