Essex Meadows is recruiting for a hospitality focused Housekeeper to join our team! This is a full-time day position, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. Duties include the following:

• Performs major housekeeping duties including cleaning lobby, library, hallways, elevators, dining rooms, lounges, beauty salon, administrative offices, restrooms, guest rooms, recreational areas and residential apartments.
• Duties include disinfecting, vacuuming, dusting/wiping down furniture, ceilings, walls, light fixtures, woodwork, baseboards, doors, handrails, sinks, etc.
• Supplies items such as toilet tissue, paper towels, soap and plastic bags for wastebaskets for all common areas.
• Maintains equipment and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Recommends to Director of Environmental Services equipment and supply needs of the department. Comments on the condition and operation of equipment.
• Inspects building on daily rounds and reports their findings to supervisor.
• Places work orders for all maintenance issues that arise.
• Picks up and removes trash.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Accomplishes all tasks in order of priority.
• Reports to the Director all complaints in regard to the controlling of insects.
• Participates in programs educating and orientating employees to the systems and procedures relating to the housekeeping operations, including life safety drills as scheduled.
• Follows safety guidelines when performing tasks.
• Maintains privacy of Residents in accordance with HIPAA regulations and Company policy.
