GENERAL FUNCTIONSenior site leader for Cincinnati Rx Operations facility Responsible for overseeing all lab equipment maintenance & reliabilitystrategy, Equipment Center, & New / Relocation Store support for LensCrafters, Target, Sears, Sunglass Hut brands. This includes internal customer service, equipment repair, rebuilding, spare equipment inventory control, parts purchasing, quality control, new store stand up, and P&L functions for ROC.
Managerial functions include the development of the organizations' Strategies & Objectives, business succession planning, career development, goal setting, & establishing annual budgets consistent with the Luxottica Retail organization. This position is responsible for owning, planning & executing projects as appropriate to support Rx Operations & Retail Operations. Supports One Sight Global Support Departrment, providing operating space & building resources as requested.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLILTIES

• Equipment maintenance & technical support capability for LensCrafters' Labs & RxO Facilities.
• Set performance objectives using key leading & lagging metrics.
• Provide a safe environment for all associates.
• Ensure that the ROC facility meets all environmental compliance requirements.
• Responsible for project management of multi-projects which may span technologies & impact multiple business areas.
• Assign priorities & manage projects including scope, schedules & deadlines.
• Develop justifications & cost benefits analysis.
• Recommend & support training as appropriate for departments.
• Make necessary decisions regarding use of company assets to benefit field customers.
• Delegate projects to appropriate associates & empower them.
• Counsel associates to develop skills within their potential.
• Assist with recruiting process & retain qualified associates for the departments.
• Create partnerships with vendors that ensure delivery of equipment, etc. to meet store needs & opening requirements.
• Deliver retirement / replacement strategy solutions with CSC & Field Management.
• Identify new business opportunities & manage implementation.
• Co-ordinate equipment moves between stores for the large equipment.
• Collaborate with Diagnostics Call Center to identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, accuracy & capability.
• Manage projects as assigned by the Director.

Knowledge And Skills

• 5 years optical/manufacturing experience, preferably with LC field operations.
• 7 years supervisory experience.
• Record of solid contributions through leadership.
• Sound leadership qualities & people skills.
• Meticulous & capable of meeting frequent & multiple deadlines.
• Working knowledge of electrical, wiring schematics, pneumatic, mechanical, blueprints & hydraulic optical equipment applications, as well as the computer software implications of the equipment.
• Knowledge in all phases of ophthalmic lens manufacturing equipment.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Experience in Maintenance / reliability engineeering
