Title:- Employee Development Spec 3/Instructional Designer

Location: North Charleston, SC

Duration:- 6 Months

We are seeking a talented creative instructional designer to join our team in building a new program from the ground up. As one of our instructional designers, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging high-quality computer-based training and simulations, as well as in-person training materials that meet the needs of our organization. In support of the 787

Responsibilities:

  • and developing instructional materials such as computer-based tutorials, simulations, videos, job aids, learning aids, and other multimedia content
  • and video recording live events at the work site
  • with subject matter experts to ensure that learning materials are accurate and effective
  • assessments and evaluations to assess the effectiveness of the training
  • instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create engaging and effective learner centered-training materials
  • and evaluate existing instructional materials for improvement opportunities
  • both independently and collaboratively to manage projects from start to finish through proactive communication and time-efficient project management skills
  • closely and collaboratively with the Senior Instructional Designer
  • up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in instructional design.

Requirements:

  • degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Learning Design, or a related field, Master’s preferred
  • be able to travel to work site 2 to 3 times per week to video record and photograph live events
  • experience in designing and developing e-learning content, instructional design, and adult learning principles
  • proficiency in authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Captivate, Premier Pro, Blender or similar software
  • written and verbal communication skills
  • project management and organizational skills
  • must submit a portfolio of previous work to include instructional videos using authentic and original videos, instructional guides, graphic design samples

Education:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master 4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
