OverviewThe Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects within the organization. They are responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and meet the quality standards set by the organization. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project coordination and communication. Key responsibilities
Assist in project planning and coordination activities
Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information
Track project progress, deadlines, and budget
Prepare and maintain project documentation, plans, and reports
Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and management
Collaborate with project managers to identify potential risks and issues
Support the project team in meeting project objectives
Organize and participate in project meetings and discussions
Ensure compliance with project management standards and procedures
Contribute to process improvements and best practices in project coordination
Manage and maintain project data, records, and files
Assist in the evaluation and assessment of project results
Provide administrative support to the project management team
Coordinate project activities with external vendors and partners
Support the implementation of project management tools and systems
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
Proven experience as a project coordinator or similar role
Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Understanding of risk management and quality assurance processes
Capability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP) is a plus
