Director of Incentive Travel Programs
Atlanta or Remote
GENERAL SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced individual to manage our relationships and travel with a number of key corporate clients that depend on Etherio to design and execute their incentive travel. To provide best-in-class consultative support the ideal candidate needs to have a keen understanding of leading incentive hotels, resorts, activities and destinations around the world. Responsible for both managing client relationships and designing and executing incentive travel, you will be part of a team known for doing whatever is necessary to deliver exceptional experiences for every attendee.
As a Director of Incentive Travel, you will work on a team under the direction of our Incentive leader to ensure we are planning and executing phenomenal incentive trips that exceed the participants’ and our clients’ expectations. You will work concurrently on multiple incentive programs and have multiple client-facing opportunities as well as providing onsite program support.
This role is suited to someone who is highly organized with the ability to prioritize, problem-solve and multi-task. Extremely close attention to detail and a keen aesthetic eye are required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Design leading edge incentive travel programs that exceed client expectations
Research destinations and activities
Produce compelling client presentations
Research and contact potential suppliers to support events
Ideate and design special events, corporate gifting, and engagement opportunities within events
Research and gather estimates for budget planning and development
Review contracts from suppliers and provide input to further negotiate
Ensure attendees travel arrangements are handled flawlessly
Provide on-site support in domestic and international venues
Manage special events – i.e., dinners, off-site events, activities, etc
Manage and coordinate DMC / supplier support both pre-planning and on-site
Accurately maintain data, records and information related to programs
Problem solve any issues that may arise pre, post or during events
Maintain budget, actual expense tracking
Demonstrate excellent people management skills
Provide reconciliation reports and work with Accounting Department to generate invoices
Other duties as needed.
MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
10 years leading and executing incentive travel for corporate clients
5 years of account management experience
A passionate self-starter with a positive attitude
A passion for operations and genuine interest in the travel market
Excellent attention to detail
Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure you can meet tight deadlines
Clear communicator who can communicate effectively with the internal team, clients, and external suppliers
A can-do attitude, who believes in team and isn’t afraid to speak up and share ideas and provide constructive feedback
Copywriting experience desirable
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to interact well with internal and external clients
International incentive travel experience a necessity
Self-managed, adaptable, and flexible
Fully proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of and ability to work in Cvent
WORKPLACE LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
We operate as a Hybrid work environment, working as a combination of remote and in-office presence, as well as the possibility of being onsite at client and/or event locations.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel at least 25%
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS
Requires flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends to meet client, event, or company needs.

The noise level in the office work environment is usually low to moderate, while event environments may be moderate to noisy.
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
