**Schedule:** Nights overnight 6:30pm - 7am per department needs, candidate would need to be available for at least 4 shifts in a month per departments needs.

**The community youll be caring for:**

AdventHealth Parker is a Level II Trauma Center that serves our community by providing excellent, community-focused health care. Since we opened our doors in 2004, we have grown into a regional medical center. In 2017, we received the designation of a Magnet Recognized Hospital. In 2018, we became one of the only five hospitals in the nation, and the only hospital in Colorado, to receive Joint Commission Certification for Bariatrics. We have 170 Licensed beds, 23 Emergency Department private rooms, and 13 surgical suites.

**The role youll contribute:**

**Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Follows standards of safe radiation practice. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.**

**The value youll bring to the team:**

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients and all other individuals. Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA).

Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.

Prepares patient for exam. Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.

Assists the patient during exam and positions the patient.

Qualifications

**The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:**

**_High School Diploma or GED_**

One year of related experience

**ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T) or CNMT registry required or State CT registry ARRT(R) with CT training**

**Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association**

**Licensed Radiology Technologist in state of employment if working in a Kansas site**
