Bismarck Animal Clinic & Hospital is a 5 doctor AHAA accredited veterinary hospital in the heart of North Dakota. We offer preventative care, general medicine, surgery, digital radiology, ultrasound diagnostic imaging, dental cleaning, and full in-house Idexx lab services.

We are seeking a full-time veterinary assistant to join our growing team! Our veterinary assistants are the entire team’s primary support. Every department relies on their aid with a variety of services to provide excellent client and patient care

.

Responsibilities of the assistant include but are not limited to performing the following:

Ø Client Communication and education
Ø Diagnostic imaging preparation and processing
Ø Obtaining patient history and maintaining treatment records
Ø Pre and post-surgery patient care
Ø Practice protocol knowledge, understanding and adherence
Ø Maintain & sterilize surgical instruments/equipment
Ø Assist our client service team as needed by answering phone, scheduling appointments and checking in patients.
Ø Maintain inventory and stocking our treatment areas
Ø Adhere to our cleaning protocols
