Per Diem Veterinary Technician – Veterinary Specialty Hospital, North County

At VSH - North County, our AAHA accredited hospital proudly serves the community by providing referral services in the specialties of cardiology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, emergency & critical care, interventional radiology, surgery, oncology, surgical oncology, ophthalmology, neurology, internal medicine, as well as integrative medicine such as acupuncture.

We are looking for a Per-Diem Veterinary Technician to pick up shifts in all departments!

About the role:

Per Diem: Provide additional coverage beyond our full-time staff, ensuring efficient patient care during high-demand periods. Availability expectations will be determined by departmental needs, encompassing various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
This role presents growth opportunities within our emergency and specialty services, offering flexibility in selecting your preferred work hours.

Compensation:

Credentialed Technician (RVT) or equivalent experience range: $26—$32/hr.
Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) range: $31—$40/hr.

About you:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
The ability to prioritize and adapt to a fast paced, fluid environment.
RVT or VTS is highly preferred.
