Job Summary
ESDG is a general contractor providing design and construction services to a diversified base of Government agencies across the nation. The Human Resources Assistant at ESDG is responsible for a wide range of administrative functions within the HR department.
Job Responsibilities

- Demonstrate a high level of courtesy and superior customer service.
- Answering general employee inquiries.
- Organize & maintain personnel records.
- Entering employment data into the company database.
- Manage the preparation of payroll data.
- Support in organizing company events.
- Facilitate logistics for new hire orientations.
- Assist the HR Manager with the recruitment and selection processes.
- Preparation and attendance at recruitment events.
- Assist the HR Manager in providing employee professional development.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the HR Manager or leadership team.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma required; some college preferred but not required.
- Minimum 1-year experience in an office environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to handle sensitive/confidential situations with professionalism and tact.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Capable of working in a fast paced, deadline driven, and ever-changing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related software.
