Job DescriptionThis position will help identify required delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput and quality. You will arrive at decisions on which methods and procedures are the best fit for different work situations.
Postion Responsibilities
  • Manage own time and Prioritize own workflow.
  • Responsible for maintaining laboratory compliance.
  • Perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing (Appearance, pH, Conductivity, Concentration, etc)
  • Interpret and evaluate data in terms of accuracy, precision, trends, and potential Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} impact and recommends appropriate corrective action where necessary.
  • Aid as necessary to maintain the function of the QC lab to include ordering materials, inventory, general housekeeping and other duties as necessary
  • Operate in high regard, integrity and efficiency to generate accurate and quality results with a customer focused mind-set
  • Utilize laboratory instruments and equipment in accordance to established procedures to include but not limited to appearance hoods, pH meters, conductivity meters, Solo VPE, Osmometers, etc.
QualificationsBASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceuticals, etc.)
  • At least 6 Months experience in a QC Laboratory
  • Successful hands-on analytical testing experience in a Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} environment
  • Technical Skills- Knowledge of laboratory equipment, testing and technique
  • Basic math skills and computer skills, such as data entry, along with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task across projects and activities
  • Must be self-motivated and work with minimal direction
  • Ability to read, communicate understanding and follow written procedures
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computerized systems, such as Laboratory Information Management System
Additional InformationPosition is Full Time with the following available shifts: Sunday-Wednesday (every other Wednesday off) OR Wednesday-Saturday (every other Wednesday off); ALL shifts are 7am-7pm.
