The Sales Manager will lead a team of Field Sales Representatives to achieve or exceed annual sales goals in their respective regions. In addition to strong leadership skills, the Director of Sequencing Sales will have a strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze sales proposals for profitability. The Director of Sequencing Sales works closely with the Customer Support, Technical Support, and Inside Sales Manager to monitor customer experiences and close new sales leads. The Sales Manager is an active voice for customer needs in the market and contributes market and competitor feedback to the Eurofins Genomics organization. Responsibilities
Create Sales Strategy Plan for the Americas region
Monitor, encourage, and develop Sales Representatives to maximize potential in the field
Actively participate in closing in specific sales opportunities which represent a significant strategic or financial gain
Participate in the creation of the annual sales budgets
Collaboration in intra-company processes for custom orders
Qualifications
BA in Biology or Chemistry and 7 years in Life Science Sales preferable with DNA sequencing
Strong interpersonal, management, and organizational skills
