Work is performed in a BLS-2 or BSL-2 environment
Perform routine testing of monoclonal antibodies in support of pharmaceutical development from early look to commercial, which may include CE-SDS (Capillary Electrophoresis Sodium Dodecyl sulfate) , cIEF (Capillary Isoelectric Focusing) , SE-HPLC (Size Exclusion- High Pressure Liquid Chromatography) or other routine methods.
Conduct analysis and reporting of data in accordance with requirements set forth by the department in electronic notebooks.
Preform method development on early look material to create a preliminary method to facilitate early testing.
Troubleshoot assay or instrumentation problems
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related science (chemistry, pharmacy or equivalent sciences degree), or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full time year if college in related major)
Three years of relevant experience (Preferred)
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Experience with Empower software is strongly desired
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Strong attention to detail
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Experience with separation methods
Experience with Agilent HPLCs, PA 800 and ICE3 instruments
