Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, a nationally recognized laboratory, is searching for a Research Associate to support our Professional Scientific Services group in South San Francisco, CA. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to help identify, characterize, and successfully transition quality drug candidate compounds from discovery to development.

Job DescriptionResearch Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Help prepare/design enabling preclinical formulations (drug delivery)
- Perform solution and solid state chemistry characterization experiments
- Instrument maintenance and preparation routine laboratory reagents (i.e.,buffers)
- Help with shipping and ordering lab supplies
- Perform protein stability characterization studies
- Experience with instrumental methods such as HPLC and solution and solid state characterization
- Team oriented, dependable, and a self-starter
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptable and with a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, attention to detail, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in biochemistry, chemistry, analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or other related degree concentration
- 1-2 years of industry and/or academic research experience
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
