Job DescriptionJob Summary: The Eurofins BPT Glassware team is seeking a Group Leader to oversee the technical and personnel aspects of group operations. This individual will act as a technical resource, trainer, and troubleshooter to the glassware team, making recommendations for operational and/or technical improvements and communicating effectively with the group. Additionally, the Group Leader will coach and develop direct reports, plan and monitor workflows, and monitor data for and utilize departmental metrics.

- Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
- Applies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility
- Consumable cost management
- Glassware flow management
- Monitor and develop continuous improvement and automation opportunities
- Hands-on management and willingness to step in and assist teams where needed
- Ensure that the quality policy program is understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the organization; identify, prevent, or correct any departures from the quality system.
- Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements
- Lead and write investigations independently, establish root cause and robust CAPA.
- Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT
- Conduct semiannual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, perform succession planning in preparation for growth
- Perform and/or assign other duties as requested to ensure smooth operation of department
