Sales Engineer - Software - Embedded Systems - automotive (based in Munich / Stuttgart / Kulmbach)

We are collaborating with a technology and software development company specializing in embedded systems, specifically for the automotive industry. Renowned for their proficiency in developing top-notch software solutions, they concentrate on in-car software, connectivity, and mobility services.

We are now seeking a Sales Engineer to join the team in their office in either location (Munich / Stuttgart or Kulmbach). This role merges engineering expertise with sales to secure contracts in Open-Source Management, Automotive Cyber Security, and Quality Management. It offers full-time and part-time opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize technical knowledge to finalize contracts with customers and partners.
• Apply expertise in cybersecurity (UNECE R 155, R156, ISO 21434), software quality, or open-source licensing.
• Oversee the commercial evaluation of requirements and support multi-year projects through their lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering or business with a technical focus (e.g., industrial engineering, business informatics).
• Experience in software or automotive sectors is beneficial.
• Interest in a role that combines engineering and sales functions.
• Expertise or willingness to learn in Open-Source Management, Automotive Cyber Security, or Quality Management.
• Proficiency in German and English.
