As a Center Manager at European Wax Center in our busy Squirrel Hill location, you’ll be the first point of contact to lead and manage a team of Wax Specialists and Guest Service Associates. You’ll play a critical role in empowering your team to provide the best possible experience for our Guests and have fun while doing it!
The Center Manager can expect to earn $17-21/hr plus commission on Wax Pass sales. Most of our associates earn anywhere from $10-20 more per hour based on commissions. As you grow in your role, you will move away from commission and towards monthly Center bonuses. Center Managers can enjoy free waxing as a means to help them understand what happens inside the Wax Suite!
Every day, you will interact with guests and model the Guest Experience behaviors that have helped establish EWC as the #1 out-of-home Waxing Business in the country. You’ll know the ins and outs of the Wax Specialist and Guest Service associate roles in order to observe guest interactions and coach in the moment. You’ll maintain a close working relationship with your District Manager and Franchisee in order to establish Center Goals and plans to execute. You’ll host weekly individual meetings with each team member to review performance so you can celebrate strengths and address areas of opportunity. You also will use your previous experience conducting interviews to help bring on and retain exceptional talent.
To thrive in this role, you must have previous experience leading a team and holding them accountable for meeting goals. You must have flexible availability in order to spend time with our morning and evening teams and support them in their roles. Prior sales experience is helpful, since you will be connecting with guests daily and sharing opportunities to help them save on their waxing services by purchasing a Wax Pass!
Please bring any questions about employer benefits to our first Zoom meeting. We look forward to meeting you!
