Our services division has a technical opening for a Estimator. This division focuses on applying applications expertise to fabricate wear resistant parts through different welding processes used within a wide spectrum of industries.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Creating cost calculations for quotations

• Understand the customer’s requirements, design intent, and deadlines.
• Collect and analyze data in order to assess the manufacturing feasibility, time, money, materials, and labor required to manufacture parts.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for new projects and review existing cost estimates for accuracy and current cost inputs.
• Interact with customers, sales, engineering, purchasing, production, and others to establish accurate cost inputs.
• Communicate and strategically work cross-departmentally to complete quotes based on customer requirements, with a focus on sales team goals and enablement.
• Collaborate with the production team to expand capabilities.
• Compute cost factors and prepare timely estimates.
• Other duties as assigned.
