Position SummaryOrange EV is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to lead the planning, design, development, and implementation of new products and managing existing products.
Position Responsibilities
- Schedule and lead project review meetings throughout the lifecycle of the product
- Collaborate with numerous internal teams including Design Engineering, Process Engineering, Purchasing, Production and Field Service to identify and define issues related to the product
- Collaborate closely with the Program Chief to prioritize engineering tasks related to the product
- Organize and manage engineering tasks specific to the product through Jira Software
- Manage the Engineering Change Control (ECR) process including leading change control meetings, expediting tasks, and implementing changes into the product
- Create and update project planning documents including project requirements, product design assumptions, bills of material, project schedule and budget
- Engineering undergraduate degree
- Minimum 5 years experience in product technical design or development
- Minimum 2 years experience in project/program management
- Demonstrated ability to effectively understand technical materials and communicate to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal means to various audiences
- High level of organization managing multiple tasks of various sizes on different schedules with ever-changing levels of priority
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues and plan ahead; proactive work ethic
- Conduct daily activities with integrity and professionalism
- Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint and Teams
- Highly preferred electrical or software background
- Experience and knowledge in automotive product development and manufacturing
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor and Jira Software
