We are currently seeking a Production Engineer at our Arizona manufacturing facilities to support ADAS / Autonomous Driving Hardware / Software Engineering activities from production standpoint. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection. The Role
Lead assembly and plant quality issues related to ADAS components and features, and mainly drive them to closure
Perform integration tests, software verification, manufacturing experiments required to solve ADAS related issues in the plant
Support new product/project launches, execute part concession deviations for ADAS components in the plant
Interact with internal release teams and suppliers on hardware and software changes for change control
Work mainly in the General Assembly facilities in Casa Grande while supporting work in other facilities in Arizona (such as in Tempe)
Qualifications
Experience in the plant production/assembly environment
Experience in the manufacturing process such as PFMEA, Control plan, etc.
Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills
Resilience and have a "can-do" approach to problem solving
Must be a highly motivated self-starter who is able to achieve results with minimal supervision and direction
Willing to work overtime as needed including nights and/or weekends
General knowledge of vehicle components, assembly, electrical test, etc.
Experience with diagnostic tools, re-flashing software on ECUs
Experience with CAN tools like CANoe and/or CANalyzer and/or CANdelaStudio
Resident will be based in Arizona, with up to 15% domestic travel may be required
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or similar technical major(s) is required.
Advantageous
Experience in areas related to ADAS component testing and diagnostics
Experience with component End of Line calibration and interface with manufacturing tools
Experience with diagnostic interface UDS, CDD, ODX
Solid background in in-vehicle networking protocols and architecture
Working knowledge of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems hardware / software / features
Experience with 2D,3D CAD preferred
Tier 1 automotive supplier or OEM experience
