Role SummaryRole: Senior Robotics Engineer - Perception and Planning
Location: Sunnyvale, CA.
We are looking for a Senior Robotics Software Engineer with focus on perception and planning to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in advancing our cutting-edge robotics technology at Pebble. You will work with a team of brilliant engineers and researchers to develop and deploy robotic systems that will transform industries and improve people's lives. Responsibilities
- Take the lead in designing, developing, and optimizing software for our robotic systems, ensuring their reliability and efficiency in real-world applications.
- Design and take to production perception and planning algorithms for the Pebble Flow.
- Utilize your extensive knowledge of the full robotics stack, with a strong emphasis on practical, real-world implementation. Oversee and contribute to the creation and integration of algorithms, libraries, and tools for robotic perception, path planning, and control systems.
- Tackle complex robotics challenges, providing innovative solutions that address practical challenges in real-world robotics applications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, researchers, and fellow software engineers, to develop comprehensive solutions for our robotic products that meet the demands of real-world scenarios.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in robotics technology and integrate new methodologies and tools into our software stack to enhance real-world performance.
- Master's or higher degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
- 10 years of proven track record of designing, developing, and shipping robotics software products for real-life applications with demonstrated impact.
- Deep expertise in the full robotics stack, including perception, planning, and controls, with an emphasis on practical, real-world implementation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C , Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, specifically in the context of real-world robotics challenges.
- Exceptional teamwork and communication skills.
- Passion for robotics technology and a commitment to excellence.
- Ability and eagerness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
